The fly in the Ludovico screening room from A Clockwork Orange, the War Room from Dr. Strangelove, the Overlook Hotel and six scenes from The Shining, the Star Gate and the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey, the masked ceremony from Eyes Wide Shut, the 1995 alien autopsy film and an Apollo landing set, plus a dance class and slapfighting. In Media Observation the fly watches films and pins timestamped observations to a corkboard. Each page lists its setup, what is measured, its limitations and its sources.
